Santa Sleigh of interesting Rising Design Stars and the Emerging Designers at the just concluded Birmingham and the Project Run Way at Tuscaloosa, Birmingham. These are unsung designers who may or may not make it in the industries but are recent graduate of the schools of design and fashion.
But among the names that will stand out in later years - perhaps due to his reverting to his 1920's repertoire is Bradford Billingsly. Here the expression of the artist - if he be Billingsly and model merit an expression of fashion, the curves speak logic but logic is perhaps an ending whereas clothing is a way of the world, it is only through logic and language of expression and expressiveness can clothing gave way to SVO of fashion.
@ Bradford Billingsly
The wardrobe dressing is appreciably fair but it seems that the image compels our sight. But for a young upstart to envision sexiness makes him an easy target and hard call for a future success. Most precocious talents are twice challenged by early to break through the expectations.
But Birmingham is not as we like it, suggest that the garb is worthy bohemian outfit from speak-easy New York. The trend survived elsewhere but took roots in the South-West and here rehearsed for the audience.
The names of the Rising Designers are tantalizing ordinary, represents a tendency to individual representation of Art and Fashion, but for a world which Alabama must triumph, the A Walter Dixon is an example of main Brand. Perhaps differently....
Kaitlynn Campbell @ Miss Alabama USA 2015
The judgement for the presence of the current champion of beauty 'missology' for Alabama is not attributable to core language of fashion or the logic young designers. There is a deliberate energy is expected from a light green and gray and black combination.
Bradford Billinsly @ Tamika Moore
The comfort from the occasion - hosted twice every year and in some Cities hosted as schedules permit by Brand names, requires at least a minimum commitment to break through the name brand and create opportunity for Boutiques outside Birmingham to take their cue.
Mia Watkins, "Fashion Week co-founder Jeana Lee Thompson said that Billingsley serves as an example of what Birmingham Fashion Week aims to do for young people interested in fashion."
"We are extremely proud of Bradford," she said. "We feel like Bradford is really the shining example of what Birmingham Fashion Week aims to do, which is inspire and encourage the youth in our community to pursue their dreams. We do that by creating a platform that encourages the creativity and gives them the ability to showcase their talent on a stage with national designers as well as local designers."
