The last of the IMG Fashion Week at Lincoln Center New York was held a few days ago. The new requirement for hosting the event which some experts estimate to have an annual turn over $865 million for City of New York will be located somewhere else.


Whereas the majority of the Fashion Weeks in New York and elsewhere are hosted on Seventh Avenue New York, some of the more trying Shows are used elsewhere; New York Auto Show being one of them and above all, Fashion Shows and Project Run Ways.


It's tough out here I can assure, but IMG organization has a worldwide to Berlin, Istanbul, London, Mumbai, Miami, Milan, Moscow, New York, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto, and Zurich. The information from its websites suggest a commutation of International Fashion Show experts whose interest in the business is also world wide.  


The occasion is year long in planning but the decision to vacate the environment is due to the order and memorandum signed by the Justice Margaret Chan in December 2014, part of which reads that "IMG Fashion Week shall vacate the premises and remove all tents and other Fashion Week equipment from the park."


Clint Henderson reporting for FOX News indicates that "Complaints from locals about the lack of access to a park attached to Lincoln Center doomed the tents at Lincoln Center..." that the "...shows will be held at two locations come September."


He mentioned that "IMG, which produces many of the shows, will hold them at Skylight at Moynihan Station near Penn Station and at Skylight Clarkson Square in SOHO. Moynihan station is a giant post office that’s currently in the middle of a major restoration"


The scenario does not change for the Show business but the difficult problem of access to a park for residence with stake in Real Estate worth billions do not believe that Lincoln Center will be short of ceremonies and occasions.


Some of the Fashion and Cloth industries who have relocated down town New York may be not at loss, there are other parts of Fashion Week around the world that does not require mid-towns and its cluster, or even 7th Avenues such as New York and the Mercedes Benz group during Fall and Spring of every year.


But the experience of IMG Fashion at the park will survive the new relocations and the business at Lincoln following planned upgrading will be judged separated with new patronage.
