Ozlem Kaya @ Istanbul
The above picture is perhaps the most tantalizing picture I have seen in a long time, perhaps the most alluring.
Here as perhaps seen elsewhere is a kindly picture of hard core designer, Ozlem Kaya. One of the first attributes of any designer is the power of tailoring. She or he must first and fore mostly be a magician with scissors or very good software, must learn to make the cloth themselves and have a thoroughly knowledge of the working complex.
Like we saw in Milan and in Paris, there is no doubt a return to long sleeves may have finally returned to fashion. This is perhaps true in Istanbul, Turkey, where better version of the long sleeves is already in use, using the examples of Ozlam and explicit version of straight cut for a matching long globes.
Below is some of the pictures from Istanbul 2015, a collection representing the thread fair for Ozlem Kaya. There are hints of femininity in straight and suit-like dresses. It is too genial for an Ozlem Kaya but genial to the point of a style representing some elements of Eastern Europe.
We may or may wonder at the trimming at the shoulder blades and at the waist line, but easiness of the rendition and the freedom from occasion which it represents, set these dresses aside from the above dresses constructed for social events.
